We’re excited to share with you the winners of Sydney Catholic Schools’ Lockdown Arts Festival.
Themed Looking outwards from a life in lockdown, the festival celebrates the joy, creativity, optimism and resilience of our Sydney Catholic Schools’ community during the pandemic.
Launched during lockdown, our Sydney Catholic Schools’ students, families and staff submitted more than 900 creative works showcasing their incredible creative talent.
Congratulations to Amelia M from Year 6 who has achieved a Highly Commended Medal in the SCS Lockdown Festival. Amelia entered the Dance competition during lockdown and showed her skill and expertise in this Creative arts area.
Amelia said, ” I entered the SCS Lockdown Arts Festival competition because it was something fun and uplifting to do during the challenging weeks of lockdown. I had fun choreographing this dance which was inspired by Mark Meiser who is an American choreographer. I love this dance because it is a very relatable song and really suited the theme – Life Out of Lockdown. I feel honoured and excited to receive this award.’
