Dion entered the Canada Bay council Migratory Shorebird Art competition and his entry was published.
Dion was very excited that his artwork was chosen as one of the winners. Dion exclaimed, “You can see mine at Nield Park, Five Dock and all around the bay. It was to help raise awareness about the need to protect our Bar-Tailed Godwits. These species are so special. They travel all the way from Alaska to Australia & NZ without stopping! And you can see them along the mud flats around Canada Bay.”
Congratulations Dion on your artistic poster to promote sustainability and protect the vulnerable species of birds in our community.
